Hours and Pay

• Starting Pay: $25.00 per hour
• Shift Differential: 12% added when moved to 3rd shift

Daily Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC vertical milling machines to produce precision components
• Interpret blueprints, specifications, and machining instructions to determine setup a
• nd operation requirements
• Perform basic CNC program edits as needed to maintain quality and efficiency
• Monitor machining processes and adjust machine controls to ensure tight tolerances and product accuracy
• Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, and indicators to verify part quality
• Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions or machining variances
• Perform basic preventative maintenance and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Work independently while meeting production deadlines and quality standards

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience operating CNC vertical milling machines
• Strong understanding of blueprint reading and geometric tolerancing
• Experience using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.)
• Working knowledge of cutting tools, inserts, fixtures, and machining accessories
• Ability to read, follow, and execute written and verbal instructions in English
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Ability to adapt to changing production demands and work flexible hours when needed
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and maintain strong attendance
