Description Job Title: Workplace Investigator Location: California, REMOTE Employment Type: Contract (3 months) Industry: Business Process Outsourcing Compensation: $50.00 - $60.00/hr. Schedule: 40 hrs/Week. APPLY TODAY What You'll Do: Lead and conduct thorough, objective, and timely investigations into employee concerns, including misconduct, harassment, discrimination, and policy violations Apply best-in-class investigative practices with strong attention to detail and documentation standards Maintain strict confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism in all interactions Develop investigation plans, conduct interviews, evaluate evidence, and deliver clear, comprehensive reports Accurately document case activity in Salesforce to ensure data integrity and consistency Escalate complex or high-risk matters and collaborate with Legal, HR, and cross-functional partners Follow proper protocols for evidence collection, preservation, and documentation Support fair, consistent, and compliant resolution of employee relations issues Contribute to continuous improvement of investigation processes, standards, and workflows Stay current on employment law and workplace investigation best practices Job Requirements Qualifications: Active California Private Investigator license (required) Minimum of 5 years of experience conducting workplace or employment investigations Strong experience handling sensitive and complex employee relations matters, including de-escalation Solid understanding of employment law and investigative procedures Preferred: AWI-CH designation preferred; California law license is a plus After you apply, you may receive a call or message from our AI Talent Scout about this role or other opportunities that match your skills and preferences.
