Description The Operations Supervisor is responsible for managing the daily activities and performance of the operations team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and in compliance with company policies and standards. This role requires a balance of strategic planning and hands-on execution to drive productivity and achieve operational goals. Operations Supervisors must be adept at troubleshooting issues, optimizing processes, and leading their teams towards continuous improvement. Responsibilities & Duties: Oversee daily operations and ensure efficient workflow Monitor and manage team performance to meet productivity targets Implement and enforce company policies and procedures Coordinate with other departments to streamline operations Develop and execute operational plans and strategies Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions Conduct regular team meetings and provide ongoing training Prepare and analyze operational reports to inform decision-making Maintain inventory control and ensure adequate supplies Resolve operational issues promptly and effectively Foster a positive and productive work environment Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 5 years of experience in Manufacturing) Minimum of 3-5 years' of supervisory experience in operations/manufacturing environments Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience managing a team Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Good understanding of safety practices and compliance standards Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams Strong understanding of operational best practices and methodologies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Experience with process improvement and lean principles Proficiency in utilizing ERP systems and operational software Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements Position Requirements Shift Second Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time Location Applied Aerospace & Defense, Manchester Category Operations Req Number OPE-26-00002 Position Operations Supervisor, 2nd Shift Close Date Post Internal Days 0 Number of Openings 1 Exempt/Non-Exempt Non-Exempt Hiring Manager(s) This position is currently accepting applications.
