The starting salary for this position ranges from $22.90 to $30.30 hour. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered.

This position is eligible for Eskaton's health benefits package the first of the month following 60 days of employment and Paid Time Off benefits program after 90 days of employment.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Volunteer Program Coordinator oversees volunteer recruitment, onboarding, orientation, and placement across Eskaton communities. This role manages the CERVIS volunteer platform and serves as the primary contact for volunteers, ensuring a welcoming, organized, and meaningful volunteer experience that enhances resident life and strengthens community connection.

With the continued growth of Eskaton's volunteer program and the implementation of the CERVIS platform, this role provides dedicated coordination to ensure a seamless and supportive volunteer experience across communities. The Volunteer Program Coordinator will also support the ongoing development and expansion of a thriving volunteer program that continues to grow in reach, engagement, and impact.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Coordinate volunteer activities and engagement across Eskaton communities
  • Manage and administer the CERVIS volunteer platform, including volunteer profiles, documentation, and hour tracking
  • Respond to volunteer inquiries and guide and connect individuals or groups to appropriate opportunities
  • Facilitate virtual volunteer orientations once a week and provide follow-up communication
  • Support community staff by providing training, troubleshooting, and guidance related to volunteer coordination and CERVIS use
  • Maintain and oversee volunteer onboarding materials and documentation
  • Assist in expanding volunteer engagement and opportunities across additional Eskaton communities
  • Track participation and engagement metrics to support program growth
  • Foster strong relationships with volunteers, community partners, and internal teams to support a welcoming and organized volunteer experience


Qualifications Required



  • Experience coordinating volunteers, community programs, or similar initiatives
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across different communities
  • Comfort using digital platforms and tracking systems


Preferred



  • Experience with CERVIS or volunteer management software
  • Experience working with older adult populations
  • Background in nonprofit, community engagement, or service-based programs

Estimated Hours: Part-time, approximately 20-25 hours per week, with flexibility based on volunteer activities and program needs.

Light Work



Exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg control requires exertion of forces greater than that of sedentary work and if the worker sits most of the time, the job is considered light work.




The final candidate must successfully pass Eskaton's post offer, pre-employment testing which includes a criminal background check, drug test, TB screen test and health screen. All new hires are required to sign an arbitration agreement as a condition of employment.
