As a Security Officer Exterior Route Patrol in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a busy retail and mall location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine driving patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities appropriate for a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts when needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout common areas, storefront corridors, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help identify security-related concerns and unusual activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help support order, assist with directions and/or general inquiries, and report maintenance, policy, or security-related issues to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
