Security Officer Screening Specialist

As a Security Officer Screening Specialist in New Braunfels, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener in a dynamic tech and media location, you will welcome visitors, verify access, monitor entry activity, and support daily security-related operations with professionalism and care. This role calls for strong communication, attention to detail, and a customer-first mindset. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or vendors by following site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Screen individuals and personal items entering the location using approved procedures, verify identification and/or credentials, and report unusual activity or policy concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and supporting security-related response efforts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as assigned, while monitoring entry points and helping to deter unauthorized access.
• Maintain accurate logs, visitor records, and screening-related documentation while communicating clearly with team members and site contacts regarding security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
