As a Security Officer Screening Agent in Austell, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct screening activities, and support security-related operations through attentive communication and customer service. This role offers the opportunity to remain visible, complete routine patrols, and help to deter incidents while reflecting Allied Universal's values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $16.33 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen individuals, personal property, and/or deliveries entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and established security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and document visitor, vendor, and/or shipment activity to help support orderly operations at the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting suspicious activity, unsecured areas, and/or policy violations and communicating observations through required reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
