Description and Requirements

The Senior Manager, Global Partner Marketing will lead the development and execution of strategic partner marketing initiatives that drive joint growth, maximize partner investment, and accelerate Lenovo's Services and Solutions across priority markets.

The successful candidate for this role will be responsible for building and managing high-impact alliances with key partners translating shared business priorities into scalable, joint go-to-market programs. They will lead the planning and optimization of partner-funded marketing investments (MDF) to drive measurable pipeline, demand generation, and ROI. This role requires strong cross-functional leadership to align global marketing, sales, and offering teams around partner initiatives and ensure consistent execution across geographies. Additionally, the candidate will track performance, deliver insights, and continuously refine partner marketing strategies to improve effectiveness and scalability.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, strategic relationships with key alliance partners (i.e. NVIDIA, Microsoft, Intel) to drive mutual growth and success.
  • Partnership Development: Identify new partners, fostering alliances that align with the business units' strategic goals, across organization.
  • Acquire Funding: This role will be foundational to securing a multi-million Marketing budget a year in partner funding, and facilitating the funding needed for offering development.
  • Partner Marketing Strategy & GTM Activation: Translate alliance priorities into joint marketing strategies and scalable GTM programs that support key growth areas (AI, platforms, services).
  • One Lenovo Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and coordination in partner activities.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment & Influence: Drive alignment with Offering Marketing, Geo Marketing, and Sales teams to ensure partner funded programs support solution priorities, sales plays, and regional execution needs.
  • Demand Generation & Campaign Execution: Develop and execute joint demand generation programs with partners that contribute to pipeline creation, accelerate opportunities, and increase adoption of joint offerings.
  • MDF Planning & Investment Optimization: Lead planning and allocation of partner marketing funds (MDF), ensuring investments are prioritized against strategic initiatives and deliver measurable ROI. Partner with Alliances and Finance teams to improve visibility, governance, and effectiveness of partner-funded programs.
  • Performance Tracking & ROI Measurement: Track performance of partner funded initiatives, including pipeline contribution, campaign effectiveness, and ROI. Provide insights and recommendations to optimize future investments.
  • Program Scalability & Best Practices: Identify and scale repeatable partner marketing programs and playbooks across geographies and partners to improve efficiency and impact.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present reports on partnership performance, including key metrics and insights, to senior management.

KEY SUCCESS METRICS:

  • Partner marketing contribution to funding, pipeline, and demand generation
  • MDF utilization and ROI (efficiency and impact of investments)
  • Adoption of joint campaigns and programs across geos
  • Alignment of marketing programs to offering and sales priorities
  • Partner satisfaction and engagement with marketing initiatives

  • Demonstrated ability to create clarity around complex business challenges, influence cross-functional stakeholders, and communicate results to an executive audience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in leveraging AI-powered tools to enhance productivity and marketing effectiveness, resulting in faster execution, improved content quality, deeper insights, and more efficient campaign performance.
  • Strong project management skills and experience working with cross-functional, international teams
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity and thrive in challenging situations
  • Strong presentation and storytelling skills dealing with technical topics
  • Exceptional communication, writing, and editing skills with the ability to communicate simply and authentically at Executive levels
  • Aptitude for technology and the ability to connect technical concepts with customer value

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 8+ Marketing experience with a focus on technology services, as-a-Service business models, or solutions to b2b customers
  • 5+ years in technology or industry Business Development, Channel Alliances, or Partner Sales roles
  • Experience managing partner-funded marketing programs (MDF) and demonstrating ROI
  • Degree level qualification in marketing, business studies or equivalent + technical studies or equivalent
This role offers the flexibility to be home-based anywhere in the United States. If you're near our Chicago or Raleigh offices, we follow a friendly hybrid model with three days a week in the office-great for collaboration and connection!

The base salary range budgeted for this position is $150,000 to $175,000. Individuals may also be considered for bonuses and/or commissions. Lenovo's various benefits can be found at www.lenovobenefits.com.
