Location:This role is fully onsite in our Hanover Park, IL office.

Salary: $20/hr

Shift: 9 am - 5:30 pm

About the role

Operations Specialists are situated in different sections within the Sustainability department, whichoperatesas an integration and warehouse facility. Expect moderate noise levels akin to a typical business office environment with computers, phones, and printers, as well as light foot traffic.Teammatesshould be comfortable working in a confined space and capable of sitting at a computer terminal for extended periods.As a SOC, you will get to:

• Enter ordersin a timely mannerfor the shipping, retrieval, and exchange of technology devices for specific accounts, while adhering to the clients Service Level Agreements (SLA).
• Investigate and resolve receiving discrepancies, proactively managing receipt dates, working with distribution employees to resolve issuesregardinglost and damaged products.
• Become an expert of informationregardingspecific products, programs, and initiatives of assigned vendors and product categories.
• Clear communication skills arerequiredto deliverclient facingmessages verbally and in writing, and the ability to respond effectively to inquiries or complaints ina timelyfashion.
• Work with vendors inacquiringReturn Merchandise Authorization (RMAs) for damaged, unused products.
• Manage all aspects of assigned vendors, back-orders, and estimated time of arrivals (ETA), as well as the handling and tracking of warranty claims.
• Work with internal personnel on problems relating to parts ordering information.
• Responsible formaintainingaccuratecosting, classification, status of assigned products,identifybilling and inventory discrepancies, and report appropriately. Work with finance to resolve any vendor issues, as necessary.
• Manage team mailbox, ensuring emails are addressed throughout the day.
• Answer questions internal &external re: processes, procedures, inbound/outbound shipments.
• Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, and Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment with a focus on attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a team and ability to work independently, strong time management skills and ability to self-prioritize work responsibilities
