As a member of the team within NC State University , this position is responsible for performing maintenance and cleaning duties to support campus parking facilities. The role includes executing tasks associated with parking signage, surface lot and parking deck upkeep, and overall facility maintenance.
Key responsibilities include the installation, repair, replacement, and removal of campus parking, regulatory, and special event signage. The position requires the ability to work independently by effectively prioritizing tasks, managing time, and utilizing available resources to ensure timely completion of assignments.
This role involves regular interaction with students, employees, visitors, and vendors, requiring strong customer service skills and the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships. The position also involves reviewing and responding to service requests, seeking clarification when needed.
Additional duties include maintaining the cleanliness and condition of parking lots, decks, and Wolfline bus shelters; identifying and reporting maintenance concerns; and maintaining painted parking spaces, street markings, and curbs under Transportation's jurisdiction. The role also supports weather-related response efforts, including debris removal, snow and ice cleanup, and application of de-icing materials. Regular inspections of parking areas are conducted, with findings communicated to supervisors.
The position is expected to provide verbal updates regarding property conditions, completed work, and upcoming tasks. |

- High school diploma or equivalency; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
