Title:Supvr Construction Services POSITION CONCEPT:The Construction Supervisor is responsible for safely directing subcontractors work using a ZERO accident philosophy, for assisting in preparation of field installation, and monitoring daily work activities to assure subcontractors are supporting the overall project schedule. In addition, the Supervisor will oversee project logistical support activities at the Solar Energy Facility. The Supervisor will ensure the quality of all work performed while identifying construction of critical items that may have potential to impacting the work schedule. The supervisor will monitor the project for safety and work rule compliance. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
EDUCATION: Preferred: Bachelors degree EXPERIENCE: College degree may be considered in lieu of equivalent experience of four years with a bachelor's degree. Preferred: Significant field experience in renewable energy, particularly within the utility-scale solar and/or battery storage disciplines. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:Required: Previous experience in understanding contract scopes of work, drawings and specifications is required. Must be able to plan and organize Mechanical, Electrical and Civil/Structuralprojects with project stakholders including contractors to support department goals. Must possess strong leadership qualities and have teambuilding skills including outage coordination, problem solving, conflict resolution, work planning, and scheduling experience. Technicalknowledge of mechanical, electrical, and/or civil structural systems is required as well as contractadministrative responsibilities including supervising contractors. Previous experience withcomputerized work management systems. Some construction management training is required. Knowledge ofconstruction codes/standards (AWS, ASME, ASTM, IEEE etc.) required. WORKING CONDITIONS: Must be able to work indoors/outdoors, which may include exposure to inclement weather, cold, heat, humidity, and high noise levels Must be able to work irregular hours, overtime, and possible holidays.
