Job Title: Light Industrial - Bench Technician(Computer Repair Technician) Location with zip code: 11600 South Burley Avenue, Chicago, IL, USA Duration: 12 Months Pay Rate: $18.00/hour Shift Timing (Day/ Evening/ Night): ((6:15 AM - 02:30:PM) Job Description: The PC Bench Tech will be responsible for working with a variety of different technology that comes through our warehouse. The PC Bench tech will troubleshoot and repair computers, laptops and various other technology that come through our warehouse. Education: HS Diploma or GED required. Required Experience: Basic understanding of computer components required; Professional experience troubleshooting and repairing computers is a PLUS, but not required. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work in a team environment to meet requirements for production and quality. Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to stay organized and desire to solve problems efficiently. Knowledge of electronic parts, understanding, and sourcing Knowledge of All-In One computers is helpful Ability to lift up to 30-50 Ibs. Role & Responsibilities: Testing, updating, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing high volumes of hardware. Removing/adding RAM Take stock and inventory of hardware and parts. Navigate the BIOS on all laptop and desktop computers. Inventory control and quality control Providing documentation Other duties as assigned. Screener questions: Have you ever worked in a warehouse?
