UCNS ADMINISTRATIVE COORDINATOR

What you'll do.

As the UCNS Administrative Coordinator, you will play an important role in delivering seamless administrative support and driving collaboration across executive, accreditation, certification, and operational teams. You will help propel the UCNS mission forward by juggling a variety of projects, ensuring efficient communication, and promoting organizational excellence. Whether coordinating meetings, managing logistics, or championing volunteer engagement, your proactive approach creates a positive impact for staff, volunteers, and stakeholders alike.

Who we are.

With more than 200 accredited training programs and 3000 certified physicians across 10 recognized neurologic subspecialties, UCNS advances its mission of helping developing subspecialties establish credibility, ensure high standards of training, and support continued growth. Established in 2001 by the American Academy of Neurology (AAN) in collaboration with five leading neurology organizations, UCNS shares a headquarters with the AAN in downtown Minneapolis and plays a critical role in shaping the future of neurologic subspecialty care.

The AAN's headquarters, built in 2012, is in a stunning, energy-efficient office, located in downtown Minneapolis's dynamic Mill District. The location offers easy access to light rail, major bus lines, parking options, walking/biking paths, and a myriad of dining and entertainment choices, making it a vibrant hub for everyone.

What we look for.

Education:

  • Associate's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or Liberal Arts or related field

Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Humanities, or Science area of study is required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of office clerical, administrative, or customer service work in a business or association setting
  • Demonstrated proficiencyin MS Office (PPT, Word, and Excel)
  • Demonstrated exceptional attention to detail, accuracy and recordkeeping
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated customer service skillssufficientlyto provide prompt, courteous and accurate information to internal and external customers in person, on the phone and through written and electronic correspondence
  • Ability to work independently as well as actively contribute to project teams
  • Experience with Constant Contact, SurveyMonkey, administration of social media platforms, SharePoint, and Client Management Systems (iMis)

Relevant education and/or experience exceeding the required qualifications may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.

Travel Requirements: No travel required.

Location: Minneapolis, MN and is identified as primarily remote (required to work in the office as needed with the ability to work remotely most weeks)

Schedule: Rarely beyond standard work schedule required.
