The Customer Service and Distribution Specialist - Branch serves as the customer service and distribution point of contact at Solvita's branch locations.



The Customer Service and Distribution Specialist will:




  • Participates in process improvement meetings and discussions.
  • Acts as SME for training new and current employees on all pull, pack, and ship functions.
  • Successfully leads and manages in a team-based environment.
  • Assists all departments with shipping issues, graft, movement, inventory, QC/QRA issues and other inquiries that occur at the branch location.
  • Utilizes proper channels to reach and implement solutions to internal and external department-related issues.
  • Displays the ability to oversee projects from start to finish; monitors and reports progress as needed.
  • Responsibilities of Distribution Technician I and II.
  • Assists Customer Service with general graft and shipping inquiries that occur at the branch.
  • Maintains open communication with Customer Service regarding order changes, cancellations, and returns.
  • Assists management team with training and mentoring new employees.
  • Maintains adequate branch inventory, and orders shipping supplies.
  • Serves as first-line solution expert for Distribution Technician I and II issues.
  • Inspects, packs, and ships tissue for distribution.
  • Stocks transferred inventory.
  • Assists in regular inventory verification.
  • Maintains shipping database of customers.
  • Assists in the bulk mailing of marketing packets.
  • Ensures the distribution area is kept orderly and that distribution functions are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Reviews all distribution-related paperwork to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures, work instructions, and applicable regulations.
  • Participates in the on-call rotation schedule required for the emergency ordering process and alarm systems.


Minimum Requirements



Education and Experience



  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
  • Must be able to follow directions and serve as a team member.
  • Must be able to report numbers accurately and monitor error control.


  • Training Modules 100% complete.



Work Environment and Physical Activities




  • Heavy lifting required.
  • Must maintain order accuracy/error-free rate of 99.8% or better, reviewed quarterly.
  • May be required to drop off shipments to FedEx/UPS locations if courier is unavailable. *
  • Must be able to meet the required physical demands with or without reasonable accommodation.
