Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns, hazards, and unusual activity according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a professional presence.
• Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity while following visitor procedures, badge requirements, and other location guidelines.
• Assist with incident documentation, communicate with site contacts and/or first responders as needed, and support orderly operations during routine activities and emergency situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Ability to meet hospital vaccination requirements is required.
• This position may include work in a hospital morgue environment.
• Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital environment is required.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
