IT Project Manager

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Technical Project Manager (Data Visualization & Tableau) for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

We are looking for a data-driven Project Manager who possesses the unique ability to translate complex project metrics into intuitive, actionable insights. In this role, you will lead cross-functional projects while taking "hands-on " ownership of our reporting ecosystem. You aren't just tracking tasks; you are designing the Tableau dashboards that allow leadership to visualize project health, resource allocation, and ROI in real-time.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the full project lifecycle from initiation to closing, ensuring all deliverables are met on time and within budget
• Architect and maintain advanced Tableau dashboards that provide a 360-degree view of project portfolios, financial metrics, and team performance
• Translate raw data from various sources (Jira, Excel, SQL databases) into compelling visual narratives for C-suite executives
• Facilitate requirement-gathering sessions with business leaders to identify the KPIs that matter most to the organization
• Streamline data collection processes to ensure dashboards are updated automatically and reflect "single-source-of-truth " data
• Manage Project Scope, Timeline and Budget/Expenses; obtain and align resources to key project roles; establish clearly defined responsibilities and accountabilities
• Oversee, manage, and lead project execution, integration and implementation
• Perform Risk Management and Mitigation Planning
• Manage Readiness / Change Adoption/Stakeholder Management
• Act as the primary point of contact and integration for the project

Requirements:

• Proven experience in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server/Cloud, including data modeling, LOD expressions, and complex parameter actions
• Proficiency in Jira, Smartsheet, or MS Project, with the ability to export and manipulate data for reporting
• Strong SQL skills to query databases directly and ensure data integrity before visualization
• Expert knowledge of Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and Waterfall methodologies
• Experience working on agile projects
• Previous project management experience in the financial industry
• Knowledge of SDLC
• Ability to represent senior project stakeholders

Pay range: $55.15 - $63.15 per hour
