Position Summary Helix Electric is seeking a dynamic Electrical Technician to join our productiondriven team. The successful candidate will perform electrical installations, load bank operations, and troubleshooting in both field and shop environments. Duties & Scope Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and components Perform load bank setup, testing, monitoring, and teardown Conduct electrical testing and inspections to ensure performance and compliance Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation Identify issues and implement corrective actions efficiently Follow all safety standards, company policies, and OSHA regulations Work independently and collaboratively to complete projects on schedule Required Qualifications 3-5 years of handson electrical experience Proven load banking experience (required) Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics Proficiency in English (spoken and written) Strong troubleshooting and problemsolving skills Ability to work in both field and shop environments Preferred Qualifications Bilingual (English/Spanish) Electrical certifications, completed apprenticeship, or technical training Physical Demands Work in all elements depending on job location and time of year (heat, cold, rain, snow) Wear required personal protective equipment at all times (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves; respirator when required) Ability to work 8-10 hours per day, 40 hours per week, including overtime and night shifts as required Perform essential physical functions including crawling, standing, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, sitting, and reaching Routinely lift objects in excess of 50 pounds and push/pull heavy materials Repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers Physical labor makes up more than 70% of the role Benefits Helix Electric offers a comprehensive benefits package, including: Medical, Dental, and Vision Plans Life, Disability, Accident, Critical Illness, and Hospital Insurance Pet Insurance 401(k) Plan with Company Match Employee Discount Program (PerkSpot) Tax Savings Accounts (FSA, HSA, DCFSA, CSA) Tuition Reimbursement Scholarship Program Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
