- Partner with operational team to translate business requests into data driven results and recommendations.
- Develop complex SQL queries to extract and transform data from multiple data sources.
- Identify trends, patterns, and insights from data sets to understand drivers of performance.
- Perform validation of data results to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Produce actionable results that communicate where to focus efforts to drive impact to the business.
Qualifications Minimum qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in analysis, information science, data visualization, or other relevant quantitative field preferred.
- Intermediate SQL knowledge familiar with aggregating, joins, timestamps, subqueries, data transformation.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with ability to present complex data findings in clear, concise manner using Microsoft product suite.
- Demonstrate initiative and self-direct work with ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Must be performing satisfactorily in present position.
Preferred qualifications:
- Previous experience with analytics preferred.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI or Tableau.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience with project management of operational programs - observing the current processes, evaluating performance, and identifying areas for improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Science, Business/Management, Mathematics/Statistics, Economics or other relevant quantitative field.
