Do you want to do work that matters, alongside supportive leaders who will help you grow faster than you ever thought possible? Are you a creative problem-solver who is energized by challenges? You've come to the right place. YOUR IMPACT
In this role, you will work directly with asset and practice leadership, as well as firm functions (e.g., Technology, Finance, Talent, Legal, Risk, and Branding), to support high-priority initiatives across a rapidly growing portfolio.
Your role focuses on driving structured execution, enabling data-driven decision making, and supporting value creation across the asset portfolio.
You will be part of the McKinsey Innovation & Technology Team (MITT). MITT is a cross-functional firm-level team overseeing the strategy, operations, performance and direction of the firm's asset portfolio across practices (assets were formerly known as "solutions" or "McKinsey solutions"); the portfolio is composed of 71 assets encompassing ~2,400 colleagues including several acquisitions. MITT partners closely with industry, function, and growth platform practices to build, scale, and commercialize tech-enabled solutions and products.
Your ability to thrive in high-ownership environments, operate effectively in ambiguity, and to find motivation to drive impact across both strategic and operational dimensions will serve you well. Your strong problem solving and analytical skills will help you digitize and gen-AI processes within and across assets and firm functions to lead to deeper insights and operational efficiency.
In addition, you will support and help drive a range of strategic initiatives across the asset lifecycle. MITT operates as a highly cross-functional team at the center of the firm's innovation agenda, and your role requires strong analytical horsepower, structured problem solving, and the ability to influence across stakeholders.
You will be supporting stage-gated asset development and investment decisions (dollars and headcount), enabling leadership to assess maturity, prioritize initiatives, and allocate resources across the portfolio. You will be conducting high-impact ad hoc analyses and financial modeling to inform senior leadership decisions on growth strategy, pricing, adoption, and portfolio tradeoffs.
You will be developing and maintaining portfolio-level reporting and dashboards, providing clear visibility into asset performance, including usage, revenue, and adoption. You will be partnering with asset and practice leaders to support commercialization efforts, including pricing, packaging, and go-to-market alignment to improve product economics and drive adoption.
You will be driving cross-functional initiatives across product, Finance, and Talent teams to improve operating models, scalability, and overall portfolio performance. You will be supporting ad hoc, firm-wide initiatives with senior leaders, structuring ambiguous problems and driving execution on topics tied to portfolio strategy and asset growth. You will also be supporting the design and implementation of systems and processes that improve coordination, tracking, and execution across a complex, global asset portfolio.
The position is based in North America.
