Microsoft 365 Administrator (M365 Admin)

Location: Hybrid (U.S.-based)
Eligibility: U.S. Citizenship Required


Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft 365 Administrator to manage, support, and continuously enhance a global Microsoft 365 environment supporting approximately 5,000 users. This role is hands-on and operational, with a strong focus on collaboration platforms, identity and access management, and security best practices.

The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who can balance daytoday administration with continuous improvement initiatives and crossfunctional collaboration.


Key Responsibilities

  • Administer, support, and optimize Microsoft 365 services, including:

    • SharePoint Online
    • OneDrive
    • Microsoft Teams
    • Exchange Online


  • Manage user identities, access controls, roles, and licensing using Azure AD / Entra ID
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to collaboration, messaging, and productivity services
  • Support and maintain security and compliance controls, including:

    • MultiFactor Authentication (MFA)
    • Conditional Access
    • Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
    • Retention and compliance policies


  • Monitor service health, performance, and availability across the M365 environment
  • Assist with M365 migrations, upgrades, new feature rollouts, and organizational changes
  • Partner with IT teams and business stakeholders to improve collaboration tools and user experience
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and best practices
  • Stay current on Microsoft 365 updates and recommend improvements aligned with business needs


Required Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience administering Microsoft 365 in an enterprise environment
    (Candidates with 7+ years in large enterprise IT environments and strong related experience will be considered)
  • Hands-on experience with:

    • SharePoint Online
    • OneDrive
    • Microsoft Teams
    • Exchange Online


  • Experience supporting midtolarge organizations (ideally 1,000-5,000+ users)
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problemsolving skills
  • Solid experience with identity and access management (Azure AD / Entra ID)
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders


Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

  • Experience with Microsoft 365 security and compliance tooling
  • Exposure to hybrid identity or legacy onprem to cloud environments
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 automation or administration scripting
  • Experience supporting globally distributed users
