The Client Management Director serves as a liaison between the business and the client and is responsible for the overall success of the client relationship. Manages ongoing contract relationships and service delivery to clients for one or more accounts. Acts as outward-facing, dedicated resource for assigned accounts, typically with direct client contact and large or complex accounts. Build's relationships with employer/group clients and serves as the primary point of contact for overall and day-to-day service delivery. Represents client internally and coordinates with other functions to implement client systems, complete projects, and address ongoing service needs.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Client Facing:
    • Relationship
      • Serve as first call and main point of contact for all client needs
      • Cultivate strong relationships with clients at multiple levels to foster satisfaction and promote retention
      • Listen to and anticipate client needs, both spoken and unspoken
      • Seek growth or expansion opportunities
      • Meet or touch base with the client at least monthly, more frequently is ideal
    • Operational
      • Handle or oversee routine transactions, answer questions. Examples can include: submitting tickets, pulling reports, overseeing invoicing, facilitating approvals
      • Educate the client on key aspects of the program, processes, member and provider journeys, etc; partner with internal stakeholders to support as needed
    • Strategy
      • Establish expectations and goals with the client, work with cross-functional partners to execute and deliver
      • Lead all client-facing meetings, including Joint Operating Committee (JOC) meetings, contract negotiations, audit discussions
      • Deliver regular performance updates and share program value story with client, through written content and live meetings (JOCs). Coordinate with key partners to create a robust agenda, content, messaging and speaking roles
  • Business Facing:
    • Collaborate with partners to fulfill requests or resolve issues
    • Synthesize client needs and requests (Voice of Client) and share with key stakeholders to inform future roadmaps
    • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure client goals are being met, reviewing KPIs regularly and communicating concerns to appropriate leaders
    • Represent the client in internal meetings, demonstrate a thorough understanding of the client's business and goals

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of healthcare experience with a strong understanding of the healthcare continuum
  • 2+ years of client-facing experience
  • 2+ years of experience in leading or presenting during JOCs (Joint Operating Committee) meetings, contract negotiations and audit review/discussions
  • Experience synthesizing client needs and requests (Voice of Client) and sharing with key stakeholders to inform future roadmaps
  • Experience analyzing KPIs and interpreting data to clients and stakeholders to drive client performance discussions
  • Experience developing and delivering on-camera virtual presentations to clients and executives with ability and enthusiasm to actively participate on camera regularly during internal and client virtual meetings
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Medicare Advantage experience
  • Experience with HouseCalls and Care Transitions products

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $134,600 to $230,800 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
