Description
The Department of Neurobiology is looking to hire a Laboratory Technician to support cuttingedge neuroscience research. In this role, you will contribute to experiments investigating the neural machinery underlying decisionmaking, working with both animal models and postmortem human and comparative tissues. Key responsibilities include assisting with brain tissue collection, sectioning, and IHC, ISH, or immunoblotting; supporting nuclei isolation and singlecell genomics library preparation; and maintaining an active animal colony, including tracking, breeding, and recordkeeping. You will also manage data logs and databases, track surgical specimens, and prepare chemical solutions for experimental use. This position is ideal for someone detailoriented, motivated, and eager to gain handson experience in neurogenomics and advanced neuroscience techniques. Hourly range: $28.69-$34.21 Qualifications
