Responsibilities

Orrick's Financial & Fintech Advisory team is seeking a proactive, dynamic associate with at least 5 years of related transactional experience for our Washington, D.C. or New York office. We are looking for a dedicated team player who thrives in managing multiple projects within a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to a collegial group.

Orrick's U.S. Financial & Fintech Advisory group advises on the industry's most innovative transactions and significant regulatory reform measures in the financial services space. Our team is a transactional, regulatory, and enforcement powerhouse, adept at taking bespoke approaches and managing the full range of issues for transactions in the financial services space, including related transactions, regulatory structuring, and enforcement matters. On the transactional side, we drive a significant number of market leading projects, including bank structuring partnerships; platform integrations and licensing arrangements; M&A and strategic investment in mortgage, servicing, and financial servicing companies; pre-transaction due diligence of financial service companies; mortgage loan and servicing advance financings; purchases and sales of mortgage loans, MSRs, and receivables; joint ventures; and critical vendor agreements.

We are focused on finding an associate or counsel that would be located inNew York or Washington, D.C. Membership to the State Bar of the desired location is required.


Qualifications

* At least 5 years of relevant law firm experience (some experience may be from in-house positions).
* Candidates must be highly motivated and have superior client service skills.
* Ability to work on, manage, and learn a broad array of transaction types across multiple asset classes.

Compensation and Benefits

The expected salary range for this position is between $365,000 and $420,000.

Orrick is committed to providing a comprehensive, competitive, and thoughtful total compensation package to our attorneys and staff, wherever they work. This compensation and benefits information is based on the Orrick's estimate as of the date of publication and may be modified in the future. The level of pay within the range will depend on a variety of job-related factors that may include, but not limited to, qualifications, relevant experience or education, particular skills or expertise, geography. Other compensation may include an annual discretionary merit bonus, which would be determined by Firm and individual performance.
