Additional information can be found at www.ttm.com The Program Manager plans, directs, and coordinates activities to complete assigned projects that are of moderate complexity/value to ensure that projects are completed within prescribed contractual requirements, time frames, and funding parameters. Assists the designated Program Manager while leading smaller, less complex projects with management oversight. Serves as a customer point of contact for assigned programs and supports day-to-day execution of project tasks. Prepares proposals in response to requests for proposals that specify the statement of work to be accomplished and the contractual requirements that are received from potential customers. Prepares unsolicited proposals based on an understanding of customer needs. This is a full-time position in which the candidate will be expected to work onsite in our Syracuse, NY location. Occasional travel may be required. Duties and Responsibilities: Plans, directs, and coordinates activities to complete assigned projects that are of moderate complexity/value to ensure that projects are completed within prescribed contractual requirements, time frames, and funding parameters, which involves:
Assisting the designated Program Manager and leading smaller, less complex projects with management oversight Leading cross-functional teams through established Program Management processes and managing day-to-day project tasking Developing plans that lay out all engineering to be completed with related deadlines, the integration of engineering into the manufacturing process, and the costs associated with the project Maintaining project plans regularly and providing status reports to supervisor/manager and customers Monitoring project progress against staffing plans, identifying resource constraints, and recommending solutions or workarounds Managing project risks and opportunities; tracking progress and reporting status Ensuring problems and issues are addressed using structured problem-solving and root cause analysis; implementing corrective actions Interacting with customers to maintain a high level of effective communications and resolve problems and issues as these arise. Preparing and sending status reports to the customer and to management. Serving as a customer point of contact as assigned Planning and managing the activities of a cross-functional project team. Assigning work and ensuring that it is completed on time. Analyzing and resolving problems that threaten the successful completion of the project Participating in or leading project meetings and design reviews, tracking progress of day-to-day commitments Coordinating the transition of the newly developed product into product support for warranty administration - Prepares proposals in response to requests from customers that specify the statement of work to be accomplished and the contractual requirements that are received from potential customers or prepares unsolicited proposals based on an understanding of customer needs. This activity involves:
Researching and developing the costs to complete the project based on interaction with all areas that would be involved in the project, such as Marketing, Engineering, Testing, Production Control, and others Generating plans to establish time frames, negotiation limitations, project procedures, staffing requirements, and the allocation of available resources Completing a financial analysis to support pricing and profitability objectives Providing inputs into cost models and supporting budget planning and financial tracking activities Presenting proposals to the customer and securing the order Aiding in new business development by supporting proposal efforts as needed Utilizing and following standard project scheduling and planning tools per 209-000.00, TTM ISO-9002, and AS9100 requirements Ensuring compliance with company policies and programs regarding safety, security, ISO, EEO, OSHA, and the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct - Aiding in the development of junior Program Management personnel by providing coaching, guidance, and training as assigned

Essential Knowledge and Skills

Required Education and Experience: Education: Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience. Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field (EE, EET, ME, MET) preferred. Experience: 3-5 years of relevant Program Management experience required. Prior Aerospace & Defense (A&D) industry experience preferred. Preferred Certification: PMI certification #LI-VM1
Compensation and Benefits:
TTM offers a variety of health and well-being benefit programs. Benefits are available on the 1st of the month following date of hire. For some positions, only PTO and holiday benefits are offered. Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is: $85,753 - $142,922
Additional compensation: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment. Positions hired for alternative shift may be eligible for a shift premium based on the assigned shift and location. Export Statement: Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition ofForeign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
