*Job Description: *
We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Technician to support telecom and structured cabling quality efforts inside large-scale data center environments. This role is focused on auditing, inspection, testing verification, and documentation-not installation. The QA/QC Technician will follow behind installation teams to ensure work meets industry, manufacturer, and data center standards. This position is ideal for candidates who think like an auditor, have strong attention to detail, and understand what "right" looks like when it comes to structured cabling, fiber, and rack layouts. *Key Responsibilities: * * Perform daily QA/QC inspections on data center sites. * Audit completed fiber and copper cabling, telecom equipment, rack layouts, and cable dressing. * Identify and document quality issues, risks, and nonconformities. * Maintain inspection checklists, reports, and follow-ups. * Communicate findings clearly and professionally. * Support corrective action plans and quality improvements. * Stay current on industry and safety standards. * Assist installation teams if QA/QC workload slows. *Schedule & Work Environment:* * Monday-Friday 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM. * Approximately 50 hours per week. * Mandatory overtime required to align with production schedules. * Work performed inside data centers. * PPE required at all times. *Required Qualifications: * * Requirements 2+ years experience in structured cabling or telecom. * Strong understanding of QA/QC, audits, and inspections. * Knowledge of BICSI, TIA, OEM, and data center standards. * Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills. * Able to work independently and manage time effectively. * Professional communication skills. *Nice to Have Skills:* * Fiber optic cabling experience. * Outside-plant (OSP) knowledge. * Learning Management System (LMS) experience. * Knowledge of adult learning principles. * Public speaking or training experience. *Employee Value: * This role provides the opportunity to play a key part in delivering high-quality, first-time-right installations in mission-critical data center environments.
