Overview

Milliman's Indianapolis Health practice is looking for a Recruiting Coordinator to support hiring initiatives for internship, early career and experienced professional job opportunities. This role is ideal for a techsavvy, proactive, and detailoriented professional who enjoys partnering with a variety of subjectmatter experts, building compliant, scalable processes and talent pipelines, and enhancing our employer brand.

The Recruiting Coordinator manages complex interview scheduling, optimizes interview tools and workflows, and often provides candidates' first impression of Milliman - both virtually and in the office. You will work closely with the Talent Acquisition Manager, hiring managers, and candidates. Success in this role requires exceptional communication, strong customer service, and advanced task management skills with sound professional judgment to prioritize, and reprioritize, work based on urgent practice needs.

Responsibilities



  • Manage candidate interview scheduling, optimizing workflows and tools in GoodTime, Teams, and UKG to improve efficiency and accuracy
  • Maintain and improve communication templates and recruiting workflows for talent pipelines throughout the hiring process in Yello, Handshake, Teams and Outlook
  • Develop and refine structured interview materials, including interview questions, assessment files, and evaluation criteria aligned to role requirements
  • Track and report on Talent data, prepare and deliver recruiting updates i.e. funnel metrics, pipeline reports, etc.
  • Provide proactive sourcing, candidate management, scheduling, and marketing support for college recruiting events and career fairs
  • Review resumes and applications and advance qualified candidates through the interview process
  • Lead and develop new initiatives for a high-touch internship program with coordinator team
  • Lead candidate sourcing projects using tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Handshake, resume books, and other platforms based on defined criteria
  • Manage a shared email inbox - respond to staff requests, candidate inquiries, university communications, and hiring manager messages with professionalism, discretion, and timely follow-through
  • Manage background check paperwork submission process
  • Promote Milliman's employer brand presence through external partnerships, professional organizations, universities, and active, professional presence on LinkedIn, Handshake, and other channels, as appropriate
  • Identify process improvements to increase quality, speed, and enhance overall candidate experience


Qualifications



  • Ability to quickly learn new software systems and adopt new processes; familiarly with UKG, GoodTime, LinkedIn, Yello, Handshake beneficial
  • Brings enthusiasm and creativity to the development of procedures and systems (automated and manual) to improve the processing and flow of information within the practice
  • Customerservice orientation with exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work across multiple time zones and manage competing priorities with urgency
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with video conferencing and file sharing tools
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Collaborative team player
  • Strategic thinker with a growth mindset and natural curiosity to ask questions that contribute to greater knowledge and better solutions
  • Basic knowledge of Gen AI tools, how to utilize AI to enhance productivity, and potential ethical considerations or concerns


    Required



    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Communications, Event Management, Marketing, or related
    • Experience scheduling interviews or events, involving multiple stakeholders, within a professional environment
    • Desire to grow your career in Recruiting, Talent Acquisition, and/or Human Resources


    Preferred



    • 2+ years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, event management, human resources, marketing, or related
    • Experience using UKG or another an applicant tracking system (ATS)
    • Professional experience scheduling interviews with GoodTime and using campus recruiting tools such as Yello and Handshake
    • Demonstrated success creating professional communications or marketing materials (e.g., brochures, presentation decks, templates, social media campaigns)
    • Proficient in tracking budgets using Excel
    • SHRM, PHR or other HR certification(s), or desire to obtain certification in the future
    • Desire to support campus-based events, as needed

      The Team

      The Talent Acquisition (TA) team leads practice hiring initiatives for a dynamic range of professions within a fast-paced, growing health consulting practice. TA staff partner with stakeholders across the firm including, but not limited to, senior leadership, hiring leaders, interviewers, assessors, administrative staff, and more. TA staff are responsible for campus-based and experienced professional recruitment strategies and program management. Indy Health TA specifically recruits talent for Health and Human Services (Medicaid), Life Sciences, Healthcare Management, Policy, Behavioral Health and Child Welfare, Platform and Data consulting teams.

      Location

      Candidates hired into this role will be required to work in-person in the Milliman office in Indianapolis, Indiana on a weekly basis, but flexible work arrangements will be considered. The flexible and hybrid work arrangements include on-site interviews, campus recruitment, and corporate events.

      Compensation

      The overall salary range for this role is $45,300 - $70,300. A combination of factors will be considered, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, etc. In addition, we offer a performance-based bonus-plan, profit sharing, and generous benefits. This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Employees in this role are eligible for overtime pay for hours worked beyond 40 in a workweek.
