Scope:

• The Quality Engineering Intern will working for 10 months to help implement process improvements, data analytics, and risk assessments. Duties include data entry, manipulation & analytics of Quality data and improvement of assigned processes, monitoring overall process performance and developing solutions to a broad range of issues. The Quality Engineering Intern will collaborate across the organization on efforts involving assesments, risk mitigation, and cost savings.
  

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with program mentors and champions to identify best methods for streamlining processes
• Utilizes a structured engineering approach to deploy best practices for process control and to improve yields
• Initiates and/or updates documentation of processes into work instructions, training guides and/or certification tests
• Provide regular (weekly) updates to program coordinator and corporate leads
• Compares existing practices with external benchmarks and industry best practices and proposes appropriate improvements.
• Maintains knowledge on current industry standards
• Leads capital project efforts to resolve Quality issues
• Present multiple project updates to the local leadership team

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

• Requires ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Project management and structured problem solving with the ability to make data-based and ethical decisions
• Eagerness to learn quickly
• Capability for designing and analyzing experiments utilizing statistical tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including strong verbal, writing and presentation skills
• Ability to lead and participate effectively in cross-functional teams
  

Education and Experience:

• Current college junior earning Bachelor's degree in engineering, data analytics, or actuarial sciences
• Previous internship experience desired

Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in New York, California and Colorado. For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.
