Pay Rate: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour

Shift: 1st 6am-2pm M-F | 2nd 1:30pm-11:30pm M-Thur | Must be able to train on 1st

As a Saw Operator in Waite Park, you'll be part of the team that keeps production flowing. You'll load materials, check quality, and help meet daily goals. Bring a good attitude and a strong work ethic, and let Staffmark handle the rest.

What It Takes

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 6 months of manufacturing experience.
• 1 year of machining + saw machine operation experience.
• Basic knowledge of inspection tools, including their uses and maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, and geometry.
• Lift (up to) 50 lbs and stack safely.
• Ability to stay active and on your feet the entire shift.

What You Will Do On the Floor

• Follow established work procedures and perform work assignments as required to meet all safety, quality, and production goals.
• Lay out reference lines and machining locations on work, using layout tools and applying knowledge of shop math and layout techniques.
• Set and adjust machine controls according to product specifications, utilizing knowledge of machine operation. Select and set cutting speeds, feed rates, depths of cuts, and cutting tools according to machining instructions or knowledge of material properties.
• Maneuver large pieces of granite using various tools and equipment, including various-sized forklifts up to 50,000+ pounds.
• Follow processing schedules and production orders concerning duty assignments.
• Arrange work in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules.
