Hours and Pay

Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

Schedule: Flexible, event-based (days, evenings, and occasional weekends)

Location: Downtown Minneapolis (Convention Centers & Hotels)

Daily Responsibilities

Greet and welcome attendees with a professional and friendly approach

Manage event registration and check-in processes, including badge distribution

Scan tickets or credentials using handheld devices and mobile technology

Provide directions, event details, and general guest assistance

Support event setup and teardown activities as needed

Maintain organized and efficient registration and check-in areas

Assist with crowd flow management to ensure a smooth attendee experience

Troubleshoot minor issues and escalate concerns when necessary

Requirements

Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or event staffing preferred

Comfortable using basic technology such as scanners, tablets, or mobile apps

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to stand for extended periods and move throughout event spaces

Reliable, punctual, and adaptable in fast-paced, changing environments

Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences
