The Opportunity

TheVice President of US Federal Programsis primarily responsibleand accountablefor business development, sales, and delivery of multi-million dollarprograms to the US federal government across multiple business lines, including air traffic control,at ADB SAFEGATE.TheVP of US Federal Programswill take ownership ofwinning business with US federal government, build and lead a team ofpeople, andownthe future growth potential of thegroup.

Location: US - remote but preference to Washington DC area


You will make an impact by....


  • Developing and implementinggo-to-marketplans forFAA and otherfederalaccounts that exceed expectations in revenueand strategic value.
  • Performing executive level client presentations articulating the value proposition of product/solution/service offerings. Arrange for demonstrations of equipment/product.
  • Keeping informed on industry news and trends, products, services, competitors, relevant information about legacy, existing, and emerging technologies, and the latest product-line developments. Attend trade shows and seminars to promote products or to learn about industry developments.
  • Bringing a strong technology acumen (specifically around softwaresystems) that allows you toidentifyopportunities and clearly communicate ideas toa range of audiences.
  • Identifyingand buildingcrucial industry partnering agreements to deliver winning proposals.
  • Coordinateingand leadingRFI/RFPteams,including pricing, contracts, andnegotiations.
  • Coordinating with internal engineering and delivery teams by developing, presenting, or responding to proposals for specific customer requirements, including requests for proposal responses and industry-specific solutions. Provide information needed to adapt existing products for the unique US market.
  • Bringing a network of industry contactswithin FAA,ATO, and othersappropriate tothe role.Develop and nurture strong executive level relationships with customers.
  • Hiring appropriate staff to support the mission of developing, delivering, and supporting innovative solutions to our customers. Leading that team in accordance with our core values of Driven by Customers, Set the Bar High, Own It, Win Together, and Inspire Talent.

The talent we want to inspire has...


  • Bachelor's degree inbusiness,engineering, ora technicalfield; 5-8 years of successfulleadershipexperience in aUS federalsales position or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of and experience with federal procurement contracting (FAA and other) withproven winsorders>10M USD.
  • In depth knowledge and experience in the air traffic control and airport industry.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit to find, win, and then nurture business with a strong accountability drive.
  • Experience building and leading a largediverse team that includes project delivery, service, and technical experts.
  • US Citizen to access information and meet program requirements.
