Tria Federal is seeking an Inventory control specialist experienced in inventory management, audits, discrepancy resolution, and warehouse operations, with strong proficiency in logistics systems, material handling, and maintaining accurate, accountable inventory records in support of operational requirements ***This role is 100% on-site. ***This role is Contingent Upon Contract Award. Responsibilities:
- Execute inventory management operations, including conducting physical and cyclic inventory counts, reconciling inventory discrepancies, and documenting findings in accordance with established procedures.
- Perform inventory audits and investigations using approved audit, causative research, and material preadjustment methods to identify root causes of inventory variances and support corrective actions.
- Apply knowledge of inventory functions, operational requirements, and work methods to ensure accuracy, accountability, and integrity of inventory records.
- Utilize automated inventory or logistics systems to track inventory levels, record transactions, and support inventory adjustment processes.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of warehousing storage management plans and accepted warehousing methods to support efficient inventory storage and control.
- Support inventory operations impacted by material receiving, inspection, storage, handling, and movement activities.
- Operate material handling equipment to receive, store, move, and issue medical equipment, supplies, and furniture in support of inventory and warehouse operations.
- Apply knowledge of material support programs to ensure inventory accuracy and availability in support of operational requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records related to inventory counts, audits, adjustments, and material movement.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management in support of inventory control and warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- Shall have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Shall have experience performing inventory operations, including inventory counts, reconciliation of discrepancies, inventory audits or investigations, material preadjustments, and causative research methods.
- Shall possess knowledge of warehousing storage management plans and accepted warehousing methods.
- Shall have knowledge of inventory functions, operational requirements, program objectives, and work methods related to inventory control.
- Shall have knowledge of warehousing methods, procedures, and material handling techniques, including activities related to material receiving and storage that impact inventory operations.
- Shall have knowledge of programs utilized in providing material and logistics support.
- Shall possess a valid driver's license and be capable of operating delivery vehicles and material handling equipment, including up to a 1.5ton stake bed truck and 4,000-6,000 lb forklifts, for the delivery of medical equipment, supplies, and furniture.
- Must be able to work independently or as part of a team and maintain attention to detail in an operational environment.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance.
