POSITION SUMMARY

The Manufacturing Materials and Production Support Specialist ensures the efficient flow of materials, products, and information to support the production of durable medical devices. This role partners closely with production, quality, and supply chain teams to maintain inventory accuracy, support assembly operations, and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage material stock levels to ensure uninterrupted support of production schedules.
  • Pull, issue, reconcile, and close materials for work orders and routers in accordance with established procedures.
  • Process requisitions and purchase orders, ensuring materials and supplies meet specifications and delivery requirements.
  • Receive, inspect, and document purchased goods; resolve discrepancies between physical inventory and system records.
  • Coordinate material flow and provide documentation support to maintain efficient production workflows.
  • Support calibration activities, equipment checks, and quality control processes as required.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate degree in a related field or technical/trade school accreditation preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in materials management, inventory control, production support, or related function.
  • Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment, preferably medical devices or healthcare products.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical tasks associated with materials handling.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Proficiency with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office tools, including spreadsheets and databases.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Working knowledge of ISO and FDA regulatory requirements.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills across all organizational levels.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Willingness and ability to complete required safety training, including Lock-Out/Tag-Out qualification, and travel as needed.

This range represents the low and high ends of the Agiliti pay range for this position. This base pay range information is based on the market locations shown. For sales positions, this range combines the base salary and the target incentive pay. The actual pay offered may vary depending on several factors including geographic location, experience, job-related knowledge, skills, and related factors.
