Service Center Manager - Salt Lake City - Commercial HVAC Sales and Service

Daikin Applied is seeking a Service Center Manager for our new location in Salt Lake City. This role is responsible for leadership and management of an emerging service location in Salt Lake City to ensures that revenue and profit objectives and customer expectations are met. This position will drive growth activity to meet annual plan quotas focused on operating income, revenue, and maintenance agreements.

Location: Salt Lake City - Hybrid/In-Office/Onsite with Customers

Your Responsibilities:

• Develop business strategies and objectives to ensure quotas and financial plans are met or exceeded.

• Plan, align work, and resources so that customer needs, contractual obligations, and service work is completed within appropriate timeframes and meets quality expectations.

• Manage P&L and deliver on financial goals (revenue and operating income).

• Lead Account Managers and the Technician team enabling growth in service and repair, complex turnkey, building automation and energy solution projects.

• Build and maintain rapport with internal and external business partners, including Manufacturer's Reps, Equipment Sales Managers, National Accounts team, Solutions team to ensure sales objectives are communicated and achieved.

• Drive implementation of Daikin culture, including prioritization of safety and People-Centered Management.

• Provide leadership for the service team, including Service Coordinators, Account Managers, and Technicians.

• Coach and develop employees in order to maximize performance and potential.

• Solicit and apply customer feedback (internal and external).

• Improve processes, products, and services.

• Manage company assets and inventory to ensure proper cost control and operational efficiency.

• Ensure that the local office is compliant with all federal, state, and local legal regulations and statutes, including prevailing wage, legal posting requirements, and safety regulations.

Your Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. High School diploma or GED required.

• 6+ years related experience and training, preferably in commercial HVAC service industry.

• 4+ years of people leadership experience preferred.

• Leadership experience in Service, Sales, and Operations.

• Previous experience working with financial statements and managing P&L.

• Knowledge of HVAC designs, applications, and energy saving solutions.

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $100,000 - $135,000 in Utah with an additional $20,000 on target sales incentive plan. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
