Daikin Applied is seeking a talented and eager Digital Enterprise Architect - SAP. The Digital Enterprise Architect - SAP needs deep SAP expertise to lead enterprise-wide architecture and digital transformation initiatives. This role is responsible for defining business, application, data, and integration architectures with SAP S/4HANA, ensuring technology investments directly enable business strategy, growth, and operational excellence.

This is a hands-on role that partners closely with business leaders and delivery teams. The Enterprise Architect will establish SAP architectural guardrails, lead transformation roadmaps, govern solution design, and mentor architects and technology leaders across the organization. What you will do:

Enterprise Business Architecture

• Serve as a trusted advisor to CxO and senior business leaders, translating business strategies into executable SAP technology and architecture roadmaps
• Define and evolve enterprise business capabilities, value streams, and capability maps aligned to growth, productivity, and customer experience objectives
• Advance enterprise architecture practice maturity, including operating models, governance, standards, and service offerings

Enterprise Integration & Data Architecture

• Partner with Integration Architect to define modern SAP integration strategy, enabling API-led, event-driven, and standardized integration patterns across SAP and non-SAP systems
• Contribute to Enterprise Data Strategy, including:

• Master Data Management (MDM)
• Data governance and stewardship
• Analytics and AI-ready data architecture

SAP Solution Architecture & Design Leadership

• Own the SAP S/4HANA architecture strategy, provide technical governance for finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and sales
• Guide SAP ERP modernization initiatives including ERP transformation, M&A integration, platform consolidation, and new digital capabilities
• Architect SAP-centric landscape, including:
• SAP S/4HANA, ECC migration strategies
• SAP BTP, Integration Suite (CPI), PO/HCI
• SAP Analytics Cloud, BW/4HANA
• SAP Hybris / Commerce Cloud / Sales Cloud
• Vistex, MES, and industry-specific SAP extensions

• Produce and govern architecture artifacts including:

• Current & future state architectures
• Solution designs
• Capability heatmaps
• Integration patterns and reference architectures

• Conduct architecture reviews and enforce architecture guardrails while balancing delivery pragmatism and long term sustainability
• Ensure SAP solutions are designed for scalability, security, compliance, and business agility

Leadership, Mentorship & Influence

• Mentor solution, and data architects; elevate architecture discipline across teams
• Foster strong collaboration between business, IT, and external partners
• Communicate architecture vision and progress with clarity to both executive and technical audiences
• Champion a servant-leadership mindset, building high-performing, accountable teams

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
• 10+ years of progressive SAP solutioning experience with 5+ years in enterprise architect roles
• Deep, hands-on experience delivering SAP S/4HANA transformations at enterprise scale
• Proven ability to partner with business leaders on strategy, transformation, and investment planning
• Strong background in:
  • Enterprise & Business Architecture
  • SAP ERP, analytics, and integration platform
  • Digital transformation and modernization programs
• Experience leading enterprise-wide roadmaps, governance models, and multi-vendor delivery environments
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills
• Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position

Preferred Qualifications:

• Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field

Daikin Applied offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements:

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $113,000 - $188,000 (+ 20% bonus) in MN. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
