  • Provide on-site medical coverage for practices, competitions, and team travel
  • Implement emergency action plans and manage acute injuries

Assistant Role Within Sports Medicine Team

  • Support the Head Athletic Trainer in the overall operation of the sports medicine program
  • Collaborate with other athletic trainers to ensure coverage for all varsity sports

  • Assist with inventory management, equipment maintenance, and facility oversight
  • Support administrative tasks such as insurance coordination and documentation review
  • Participate in departmental meetings and professional development activities

Communication & Collaboration

  • Communicate effectively with coaches, physicians, strength and conditioning staff, and student-athletes
  • Educate student-athletes on injury prevention, nutrition, recovery, and overall wellness
  • Foster a positive and professional working relationship within the athletics department

Student & Program Support

  • Promote a student-centered environment aligned with NCAA Division II philosophy
