The estimated base salary range for this role is $65,000 to $73,000 per year.
Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience and other relevant factors

Reporting within the Financial Services organization, this position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting day-to-day Record-to-Report (R2R) activities, including financial reporting, journal entries, account reconciliations, intercompany netting, month-end close processes and supporting plant controllers.

What You'll Do

  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities by completing assigned tasks accurately and on time
  • Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation for recurring accounting activities
  • Perform account reconciliations; investigate variances and resolve differences with appropriate support
  • Monitor accounting data to identify trends, variances for potential improvement opportunities, and escalate issues as appropriate
  • Maintain clear, organized documentation to support internal controls and audit requirements
  • Assist with audits by providing documentation and responding to inquiries
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to obtain information and resolve accounting-related questions
  • Follow standard operating procedures and contribute to updates as processes evolve
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to increase efficiency and standardization

  • Ability to exercise independent judgment to ascertain the reasonableness and accuracy of information.
  • Understanding of accounting best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to adapt to fast pace and rapidly changing environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Proficient understanding of end-to-end business processes from record to internal/external reporting.
  • Ability to identify and implement process improvements

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in accounting, finance or related field
  • 2+ years' experience or Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field
  • SAP S4 Hana, Fiori experience is highly valued
  • Strong technology skills, including Excel and other reporting tools
