Purpose of the role

Play an integral role in supporting the successful delivery of projects by ensuring effective contract administration and procurement practices. You will be responsible for gathering and compiling essential contract data, supporting the implementation of contract administration procedures, and managing the lifecycle of contracts for services, materials, and equipment. Working with a high degree of autonomy, you will apply your experience and judgment to navigate complex procurement activities while aligning with Worley's standards and project objectives.

Core Responsibilities
  • Support the administration of contracts by gathering, analyzing, and maintaining accurate contract data and documentation.
  • Assist with the implementation and continuous improvement of contract administration procedures and processes.
  • Administer contracts for services, equipment, materials, and products, ensuring compliance with agreed terms and conditions.
  • Identify, solicit, and evaluate contractors to support consulting, specialty, and construction service needs.
  • Lead or contribute to proposal preparation, contract negotiations, and contract execution activities.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and conditions to achieve optimal outcomes for Worley and its customers.
  • Monitor contractor performance, ensuring delivery aligns with project scope, schedule, cost, and quality expectations.
  • Coordinate and validate invoice approvals, ensuring appropriate documentation is in place for timely payment.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and project teams to resolve contract-related issues and recommend practical solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance to less experienced team members and contribute to knowledge sharing across the team.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, supporting the preparation of proposals, reports, and presentations.
  • Utilize procurement systems, processes, and tools effectively, while supporting troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives.
