Facilities Manager - JLL

What this job involves - As a Facilities Manager supporting our financial services clients, you'll be the strategic force behind seamless, high-performing workplace environments. This role places you at the intersection of operational excellence and client partnership, where you'll oversee the complete facilities management lifecycle for sophisticated corporate environments.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Proactively develop and manage client relationships, ensuring expected service levels are achieved and Key Performance Indicators are met or exceeded through exceptional service delivery.
  • Manage site operations in accordance with agreed policies, procedures, and contract scope, including development and implementation of annual management plans.
  • Oversee all building systems including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, generators, and critical systems within the portfolio.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety, environmental, and risk management policies while managing repairs, maintenance, minor works, and tracking requests to completion.
  • Manage vendor performance to contract standards, document poor performance instances, and coordinate internally with fitness, food services, security, transportation, and capital project teams.
  • Lead small-scale construction projects and support the sourcing process through vendor contract procurement while delivering required portfolio management reports.
  • Achieve financial targets by managing operational expenditure within budgets, identifying efficiencies, and ensuring effective operation of assigned responsibilities.
  • Manage annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, prepare budget spend reports, and process vendor payments in compliance with policies and delegated authorities.
  • Develop and approve annual capital plans for buildings in close coordination with client representatives.
  • Lead, develop, and supervise a professional team through excellent onboarding, training, performance management, and team building while acting as a JLL ambassador upholding core values of Teamwork, Ethics, and Excellence.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2+ years of facilities experience, preferably supporting corporate office environments or financial services clients
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, control costs, and deliver financial reporting with accuracy and transparency
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build effective relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working specifically within financial services, banking, or similarly regulated industries
  • Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and Microsoft Office Suite
