Department based internship. Incumbent receives academic credit in accordance with school and internship guidelines. Internship provides hands-on learning experience. Seeking students that are enrolled in Criminal Justice, Criminology, Psychology and Healthcare. Are you a college student interested in law enforcement, public safety, healthcare, or mental health? Duties: Patrol hospital grounds to prevent theft, safety risks, and unauthorized activity Support patients, visitors, and staff with empathy and professionalism Respond to incidents and assist in emergency situations Gain exposure to hospital operations and multidisciplinary teams Operate real-time security tools: CCTV, alarms, and access systems Train in handcuffing, defensive tactics, and de-escalation strategies Education High School Diploma or Equivalent required Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Must be reliable and punctual. - Good time management skills. - Strong oral communication skills. - Ability to take and follow direction. - Willingness to learn.
