The Investment Manager Services Division (IMS) at SEI is growing rapidly and is seeking a seasoned operations professional to join the Collective Investment Trust (CIT) Administration team. As a Specialist, you will lead complex investor on-boarding and ongoing servicing needs for CIT funds, serve as a key escalation point, and drive process improvements across the lifecycle.

What you will do:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for CIT investor on-boarding and related servicing functions; advise on policy, controls, and best practices.
  • Own end-to-end investor on-boarding across the CIT platform, proactively identifying risks, resolving complex exceptions, and ensuring timely, accurate completion.
  • Lead process and control enhancements to improve the investor experience, reduce cycle times, and strengthen operational readiness.
  • Partner directly with external stakeholders (recordkeepers, advisors, consultants, plan sponsors) to answer technical questions, set expectations, and resolve escalations.
  • Provide coverage for key CIT relationships and initiatives, prioritizing competing deadlines and ensuring a high-quality client experience.
  • Coordinate with internal product, technology, operations, and client teams to resolve open items; drive issue triage through root-cause and remediation when needed
  • Oversee daily activities for collective funds (e.g., new account openings, operational setups, and administrative support), ensuring accurate execution and clear communication with third parties and clients.
  • Contribute to a continuous-improvement culture by sharing best practices, supporting cross-team initiatives, and helping develop others through informal coaching.

What we need from you:

  • BA / BS in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or equivalent experience.
  • Collective Investment Trust experience preferred.
  • Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in investor services/on-boarding, collective trust funds, client service, retirement plan administration, and/or trust/fund administration.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, lookups, data validation); ability to analyze trends and reconcile exceptions.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables with high accuracy, strong judgment, and consistent follow-through.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable leading discussions with internal partners and external clients.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines in a controlled environment.
  • Strong stakeholder-management mindset and commitment to client service, with experience navigating sensitive issues and escalations.

What we would like from you:

  • A drive to broaden one's knowledge of the financial services industry by learning new concepts and systems and taking the initiative to apply it to daily work assignments.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize daily workload.
  • Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. As the needs of our clients change, we need to be flexible to change with them.
  • Positivity and collegial approach in assisting both colleagues and clients and the ability to work in team environment.
  • Curiosity, critical thinking and attention to detail: Whether it's to identify a solution to a problem or possibly help implement a more efficient process or procedure, your skills have a place in our business. As a specialist, you will be referred to as a subject matter expert in key areas.
