You can explore the details of our benefits offering by visiting the following link: https://jhhs.mybenefitsjhhs.com/ We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead and coordinate support for the Vizient Operational Database across the Johns Hopkins Health System. This role is dedicated to a single program and will ensure program integrity and coherence, manage interdependencies and risks, enable business change, and drive realization of projected benefits. The Program Manager will act as a subject-matter expert for analytics and business intelligence (BI) outputs - focusing on interpretation, data quality, coordination and operationalization of insights. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Vizient Operational Database program for the Johns Hopkins Health Systen: plan, coordinate and deliver program activities that align with organizational priorities.
- Coordinate timely data submissions from departments and stakeholders; establish and enforce submission processes and schedules.
- Improve data quality and completeness by defining data standards, monitoring data feeds, identifying gaps, and leading remediation efforts with data owners.
- Serve as the BI/analytics SME to department leaders and stakeholders - help interpret Vizient reports and dashboards, translate metrics into actionable recommendations, and build trust in the data.
- Drive engagement with reporting outputs: coach departments on use of reports, facilitate review sessions, and increase adoption of dashboards and KPIs.
- Design, lead and deliver performance improvement initiatives informed by Vizient reporting (identify opportunities, set targets, coordinate interventions, and measure outcomes).
- Maintain program governance, schedules, risk and issue logs; escalate and initiate corrective actions as needed.
- Coordinate with IT, analytics teams, quality improvement, evidence-based practice groups and other partners to integrate efforts and ensure reliable reporting.
- Prepare materials, agendas and summaries for meetings, committees and stakeholder briefings; report program progress and benefits realization to leadership.
- Manage thirdparty relationships (e.g., Vizient) and ensure contractual/service expectations are met.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Health Administration, Public Health, Project Management or related field required; Master's preferred.
- 7 years of experience managing programs or multiple projects with an analytic/BI focus, including:
- Minimum 3 years providing project or team leadership.
- Minimum 3 years working with project life cycle methodologies.
- Minimum 3 years working with business intelligence/analytics from a consumer/SME perspective (interpretation, governance, data quality, and operationalization) - coding/programming is not required.
- Professional certification (PMP or equivalent) strongly preferred.
- Experience with Vizient, SAP, Laborlytics or similar healthcare operational/benchmarking tools strongly preferred.
- Strong stakeholder management, facilitation and communication skills; ability to translate analytic outputs into operational programs and measurable improvements.
- Demonstrated problemsolving skills and ability to make effective decisions with incomplete information.
- Advanced proficiency with PC applications and common office/BI tools (consuming dashboards and reports).
Salary Range: Minimum $37.60/visit - Maximum $62.08/visit. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
