JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS Part-Time Lead Generation Specialist for Research Enterprise Location: Remote, hybrid or in-person Department: Research Business Development, within the Office of the Senior Vice President for Research Position Overview: Penn State's Research Enterprise seeks a dynamic and motivated Part-Time Lead Generation Specialist to support our early-stage lead generation and nurturing activities. This role focuses on nurturing leads that arise out of the strategic marketing of the OSVPR Business Development MarComm office, that supports various research areas of Penn State. This role will help nurture and cultivate leads for commercializing our research, research partnerships, and potential research sponsors. The ideal candidate will have experience nurturing initial contacts or leads within industry and professional circles, utilizing both traditional and innovative methods. This position then interact with key stakeholder units to transition the lead to their care for further interactions in the marketing funnel. This position will also work closely with other members of the OSVPR Research Business Development team who track the progression of leads in HubSpot, helping to maintain frequent updates across the business development lifecycle. Hours: Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week.
