Description
OVERVIEW: Under the supervision of Shelter Deputy Director and Shelter Director, the Day Program Case Worker will interview, coordinate, and cooperate with other Salvation Army, government departments and private agency staffing to refer Day Program participants to needed services in an orderly and timely manner. High School or Equivalent (required)
Experience
Some experience with disadvantaged populations, whether through work, volunteering or being a member of a disadvantaged population is required. (preferred)
Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing skills sufficient to perform the tasks required. (preferred) Trained or receiving training on informal mental health/substance abuse evaluation.
