SUMMARY:

Under direction from the Director of Quality Improvement and Patient Safety, the Quality Project Coordinator provides high-level administrative and departmental support. Performs functions requiring considerable knowledge, critical thinking, and judgment regarding departmental procedures and policies, quality committee structure, and confidentiality. Coordinates project planning, manages deadlines, meeting minutes, committee scheduling and project coordination. Assists with supervision of current projects and coordinates with team members to keep workflow on track. Takes minutes for high level quality and patient safety committees. Interacts with Senior Leadership, Board members and others across the organization to support departmental functions related to the work of the committees, departmental operations, and performance improvement projects and tracking. Maintains action plans. Communicates with stakeholders to identify and define project requirements, scope, deliverables, and objectives. Helps to achieve organizational goals while upholding standards and best practices.

Coordinates project teams and work groups. Facilitates project planning and implementation meetings. Helps to achieve organizational goals while upholding standards and best practices. Completes other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of 1 year progressively more responsible project management experience, preferably gained in a healthcare setting, in conjunction with a Bachelor's degree or 3 years progressively more responsible project management experience, preferably gained in a healthcare setting, in conjunction with a high school diploma or equivalent. Proficient with Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and Visio. Excellent time-management, multi-tasking, and analytical skills with detail-oriented focus. Outstanding interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. Excels in working in a fast-paced environment. Work Environment and Physical Requirements: Requires the ability to stay focused in a fast paced every changing environment. Requires the visual acuity and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computerand use a typical keyboard and computer mouse to navigate screens on multiple computer monitors. May require extended periods of time standing and walking. Independent Action: Performs independently within the department's policies and practices. Refers specific complex problems to supervisor when clarification is required.

$53,060.80-$87,547.20
