As a Security Officer Patrol Reception Specialist in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Our Security Officers patrol a busy logistics and distribution location, helping to monitor access points, observe activity, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. In this unarmed role, you will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and deliver strong customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $17.42 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, warehouse spaces, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and/or driver entry activity, and report suspicious behavior, operational concerns, and/or policy violations according to site protocols.
• Support daily location operations by helping with foot and/or vehicle patrols, observing package flow and high-traffic areas, and completing routine reports related to security-related incidents and/or observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
