Sr. Electrical Engineer (EVs)

Acara Solutions has been providing advanced manufacturing firms across North America with our staffing services since the 1950's. Our Newark, CA EV client has a long-term contract position for an Electrical Engineer IV. The max pay rate is $83.88 / hour. This is an 8 hour per day, 5 days a week onsite position in Newark, CA (Bay Area). Split per diem available.

Conduct and execute from early stage to production stage for End-of-Line in automotive applications.
Hands-on in using the use of lab equipment (AC grid simulator, DC power supply, oscilloscope, etc.).
Hands-on experience with automotive testing equipment.
Prepare and procure the items for station readiness for reflash and test equipment.

Purpose of the Team: The purpose of this team is charging and HVD testing.
Key projects: This role will contribute to do the EOL for PEU (Midsize).
Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of running the test.

Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:

BSEE or similar technical degree

Min 2 years of automotive testing equipment experience, including lab equipment (AC grid simulator, DC power supply, oscilloscope, etc.) and high voltage testing.
