Job Overview:

Join the nation's leading provider of pediatric rehabilitation as a full-time Psychotherapist (LCSW) at Children's Specialized Hospital (RWJBH), providing essential individual, family, and group therapy to inpatient and outpatient populations. We are seeking a compassionate clinician with 1+ years of experience to join our multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality care, team consultation, and clinical supervision to support children and adolescents. This role offers the flexibility to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic hospital environment, with evening work required.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • NJ Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
  • 1 year of professional Social Work experience

Certifications and Licenses Required:

  • NJ Social Work License
  • AHA BLS Provider Certification
  • Valid Driver's License

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Full time
  • Day shift

Essential Functions:

  • Provides effective individual, family group psychotherapy as indicated
  • Identifies realistic goals for psychotherapy
  • Attends program development and case conferences as indicated for patients treated or evaluated
  • Provides in services to staff and community agencies as requested by Supervisor
  • Disseminates findings accurately and sensitively, according to Department policy
  • Provides supervision to staff, fellows, interns and externs as indicated
  • Provides effective team consultation as needed
