Job Summary
Barrett Paving Materials is seeking a dependable and safetyfocused Flagger to support construction and paving operations throughout the Mid West Central region. The Flagger plays a critical role in maintaining safe traffic flow around work zones, protecting crew members, pedestrians, and the traveling public while ensuring projects run efficiently.
Qualifications and Skills
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous flagging or construction experience is a plus, but not required
  • Ability to obtain or maintain required flagger certification
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures precisely
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for long periods and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Capable of lifting and moving traffic control equipment as needed
  • Vision and awareness sufficient to observe traffic and jobsite hazards
  • Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overtime as required by project schedules
