Are you a dedicated safety professional ready to make a significant impact on workplace well-being? We are seeking a proactive and skilled Safety Representative to champion safety initiatives and ensure a secure environment for all. In this role, you will be instrumental in fostering a robust safety culture, providing critical guidance, and driving continuous improvement across our operations. Your expertise will directly contribute to protecting our most valuable asset - our people - and upholding the highest standards of workplace safety.

**What You'll Do:**

* Analyze workplace safety data, communicate key findings and trends, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement in safety protocols.

* Evaluate site workplace safety performance and industrial hygiene processes to ensure strict adherence to all relevant regulatory standards.

* Serve as the primary subject matter expert and resource for all site workplace safety and industrial hygiene requirements.

* Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and leadership to advance and transform the workplace safety culture.

* Develop and deliver comprehensive training and development initiatives designed to promote a positive and proactive safety culture among all employees.

* Build and foster strong partnerships with key personnel across various functions, including Enterprise Safety Operations, Global Workplace Safety, Human Resources, Industrial Hygiene, Labor Relations, Environmental, Ergonomics, and Health Services teams.

* Support the strategic implementation of safety processes across the site, working under the direction of senior safety leadership.

* Provide expert guidance to facilitate the successful adoption of local safety requirements and other organizational safety or industrial hygiene-related initiatives.

* Work collaboratively with internal safety stakeholders, site peers, and leadership to develop actionable plans and effective tracking systems that eliminate obstacles and ensure the timely execution of safety projects.

* Actively support or lead the resolution of safety concerns as required, demonstrating strong problem-solving capabilities.

* Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership, contributing to overall operational excellence.

**What You'll Bring:**

* A solid foundation in safety principles and a foundational understanding of industry practices and procedures, typically acquired through an undergraduate degree, relevant professional certification, or equivalent practical experience.

* Demonstrated critical analysis skills, enabling effective identification, description, and recommendation of solutions for business challenges encountered in daily activities.

* Proven ability to apply professional and theoretical knowledge, along with strategic problem-solving skills, to address and resolve complex safety issues.

* Experience in analyzing workplace safety data, identifying trends, and proposing improvements.

* Familiarity with evaluating workplace safety performance and industrial hygiene processes against established standards.

* Capability to serve as a primary resource for workplace safety and industrial hygiene requirements.

* Strong collaborative skills, with experience working with various levels of leadership and cross-functional teams to advance safety culture.

* Experience in delivering training and development initiatives focused on safety.

* Ability to support the implementation of safety processes and provide guidance on regulatory compliance and safety initiatives.

* Proven ability to develop actionable plans and tracking systems for safety projects.

* Experience in supporting or leading the resolution of safety concerns.
