As a Security Officer Patrol Specialist in Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and report relevant details to site contacts and/or local authorities when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, road-facing access points, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe site activity, and document security-related incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations in accordance with post procedures.
• Support traffic and pedestrian flow at the location by providing directions, monitoring restricted areas, and communicating clearly with staff and/or members of the public.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
